Boise is hard on heating and cooling equipment. Summer afternoons in the Treasure Valley reach the high 90s and the air conditioner runs for hours. Winter nights drop below freezing and the furnace does the same. Two Season Care is the maintenance membership from Summit Heating & Air. A technician visits twice a year, once before cooling season and once before heating season, to clean, test, and adjust your equipment. Members also get priority scheduling, a repair discount, and a lower diagnostic fee. It works for a 1950s furnace on the Bench and a new heat pump in Kuna. Pick the plan that fits your home and cancel any time.
For a single furnace and air conditioner in a home where the owner wants the basics handled on schedule.
For homes with a humidifier, a second system, or an older furnace where a breakdown would be expensive.

In spring we check the refrigerant charge, rinse the outdoor coil, test the capacitor and contactor, and clear the condensate drain. In fall we inspect the heat exchanger, test the igniter and flame sensor, check gas pressure, and confirm the safety switches work. Each visit ends with a written report and photos.
No. The membership bills monthly and you can cancel with a call to (208) 555-0142. If you cancel after a visit but before the year is up, we bill the difference between the member price and the regular tune-up price for that visit.
Yes. Heat pumps and ductless mini-splits get the same two visits. Before winter we also check the defrost cycle and reversing valve, since a heat pump in the Treasure Valley runs through freezing nights and needs both working.
No. It is a maintenance plan, not a warranty. Parts and labor are billed separately at the member discount. Regular visits help us catch worn parts before they fail, but they do not guarantee a system will not break down.
Boise water is hard. Minerals build up on the pad through one winter and block airflow, so the humidifier stops adding moisture to the house. A new pad each fall keeps it working through the dry months.
