The Two-Season Plan from Summit Heating & Air covers a spring cooling tune-up and a fall heating tune-up for homes across Boise and Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Eagle, and Kuna. Each visit is a full inspection and cleaning. We check refrigerant charge, clean the outdoor coil, test capacitors and motors, inspect the heat exchanger, test safety controls, and replace or clean the filter. Members get priority scheduling during the July heat and the January cold, when our schedule fills fastest. Repairs come with a member discount, and the diagnostic fee is waived on plan visits. Maintenance plan pricing
The Two-Season Plan starts from $199 per year for one heating and cooling system, or from $18 per month. Each additional system in the same home is added at a reduced rate. The price includes both tune-ups, filter replacement at each visit, priority scheduling, and the repair discount. Homes with a heat pump instead of a furnace and air conditioner pay the single-system rate. Ductless systems are priced by the number of indoor heads, since each one needs its own cleaning. Compared with paying for two standalone tune-ups, the plan usually costs less and includes the repair discount on top.
Why twice-a-year service matters in Boise
Boise equipment gets a hard season on each end of the year. In June, cottonwood seed along the Boise River and the Greenbelt packs outdoor coils, and the dry summer dust from the foothills adds to it. A coil that is not cleaned before July runs hot, draws more current, and shortens compressor life. In the fall, a furnace that sat idle since March needs its ignition, safety controls, and heat exchanger checked before it runs through inversion weeks in January. Wildfire smoke in August and September loads filters faster than usual. What does a tune-up actually include?
A cooling tune-up covers coil cleaning, refrigerant charge, capacitor and motor testing, drain line clearing, and thermostat checks. Is a maintenance plan worth it if my system is new?
Most manufacturers require documented annual service to keep the parts warranty valid. The plan gives you that record. New equipment also benefits from a verified refrigerant charge and clean coils from the first year, and small installation issues get caught early.
Can I cancel the plan?
Yes. Annual plans run for twelve months and can be cancelled at renewal. Monthly plans can be cancelled after the first two visits are completed, since those are what the monthly payments cover. There is no cancellation fee and no automatic price increase.
When do you schedule the tune-ups?
Cooling tune-ups run from March through June, before the heat arrives. Heating tune-ups run from September through November. We reach out ahead of each season to book. If you join mid-season, we schedule the current season's visit first.
Does the plan cover repairs?
The plan covers maintenance, not repair parts. If a repair is needed, the diagnostic fee is waived and the member discount applies to parts and labor. We tell you the price before doing the work, the same as any customer.
Do you service heat pumps and mini splits under the plan?
Yes. Heat pumps get a spring and fall visit like any other system. Ductless mini splits get their indoor heads cleaned, the blower wheels checked, and the condensate drains cleared, which matters because those heads collect dust and can drip if neglected.
