My Kuna home was built in 2014. Why is the AC already failing?
Most subdivision homes got a base-model condenser and a 1-inch filter slot, and many owners never had a tune-up. Ten summers of dust, long run hours, and dirty coils wear a basic unit out faster than its rated life. Most of what we see at that age is a capacitor, a contactor, or a refrigerant leak, and those are repairable.
I am on well water outside Kuna. Does that affect my HVAC?
